    Hi SmarmySlayer,

In order for me to better assist you, I would like to know the following:

    • In the middle of the installation process, do you get any exact error messages when selecting your D:\ drive?
    • Have you tried installing the game on a different user profile?
    • Are there any troubleshooting that you've tried prior to posting?

In the meantime, you might want to refer to the minimum system requirements for Halo: Combat Evolved. Since this is an old game, I would highly recommend that you run your installer on Compatibility mode. This is so you'd be able to install it on your computer with a platform that it would work best. As for the installation, once the installer launches, I would recommend that you look for the advance installation option. This way, this should be letting you modify the installation, and also where you want to install it.

If you would like me to provide additional advice, simply respond to this thread. I will get notified and I’ll reply to you as soon as I can.
