This is not a Windows or Microsoft problem. You need Filmora Support. I will say that when you're editing something--anything--and you're offered the opportunity to save your edits and don't do it, the edits will be lost and won't be retrievable.
Messed up MP4 file issue
Hello. I was making a montage video for YouTube and I put like 9 long videos together and made them into a 30 minute video. I exported it to my PC file and I thought everything was perfect and it asked me if I wanted to save my edits and being myself and not thinking, I said No to saving the edits I made. (I used Wondershare Filmora) Then I looked at the video and watched it and after 8 minutes in the video the frame stopped and the video was stuck and I couldn't hear audio. But the weird part is the video says it was still playing on my timer thing. After 15 minutes of fast forwarding it, it started playing again but it only played at the ending part of the video. Then after 5 more minutes it got stuck again and continued to remain stuck till the end of the video. I don't know how to fix this and I spent countless hours of trying to fix this corrupt file and I at least got 2 nights without sleep and maybe 50 hours worth trying to fix this and no matter how many mp4 file fixers I download, it never solves the
issue. I really need your help on how to either get my edits back and restore it in Filmora or fix the file. I'm so sad and upset about this and a fix would be so amazing. I put so much time and effort to edit the montage and plus trying to fix the issue and nothing worked. Any help to fix this I would be forever thankful. Thanks for reading and have a great day.

Also, you can try to play the video in another Media Player such as VLC Player or DivX Player. If your problem is not solved then I suggest you try a professional video repair software, like Stellar or Grau which can repair video glitches very easily.

Try using AVS Video Converter or Suite. Then knowing important things like file formats, aspect ratios, resolutions, frame rates and bit rates are very important.
