Hello. This is the easiest way to remove the Windows 10 password .

Step 1: First step is to open Run command box by simultaneously pressing Windows logo and R keys (Windows+R). In the Run dialog box, type Netplwiz and then press Enter key.

Step 2: In the resulting User Accounts dialog, select your user account first and then uncheck the option labelled Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer. Click Apply button to see Automatically sign in box.

Step 3: In the Automatically sign in dialog, type your password and then re-enter the password to confirm the same.

    Finally, click OK button.

Please let me know if that works.

Hi ritzputsk, do you want to log in without having to use a password, or are you locked out of a user account that is password protected?

    1.

Remove the need for a password on a user account:

    Open the Settings App

Go to Accounts - Sign-in Options

Choose to sign in with a local account

(in newer versions of Windows 10, this might be on the Your Info Settings Page)

Enter your old password and leave the new password box blank

    Close the Settings App

Click your Start Button, type netplwiz and hit Enter

In the resulting dialog, uncheck the option 'Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer box'

    Click OK

    That's It!

    2.

If you need to get into an account and have forgotten the passowrd, if it is a Microsoft Account, click the link below to reset your password and follow the prompts:

Im using Windows 10. When i enter “netplwiz” in run, it opens User Accounts but I dont see anything that you described above.

Only solution i found was link:

    https://www.isunshare.com/windows-10/how-to-remove-sign-in-options-on-windows-10.html

I figured out by opening user settings/ Make changes to my account in PC settings/ Sign-in Options/ Password/ change password/ Enter Current Password/ then just “click” in each box leaving them all blank: New Password/ Re-enter Password/ Password hint/ Next/ Finish.

    Password now removed.

Select the User account you are using under the User tab.
