Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit iso image with SP1... can't find US English on Microsoft Web site, closest is Serbian Latin --- found version of SoftLay.net ... is it a valid copy?

I have a valid copy of Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit without SP1. The original mother board died and I replaced it with a new motherboard with updated CPU and Glue chips. I need to reinstall. I can't get my original DVD to either fix or install on another drive. It doesn't have SP1 included. When I go to the MS site, I am forced to chose one of two languages, neither of which is US English. So I choose Serbian Latin, but the download fails partway through the 9 hour+ download over DSL.  I found what purports to be an untouched version of the original Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit with SP1 from SoftLay.net. They claim to have an untouched iso image. I was able to down load it. Is it safe? What are the SHA-256 or MD5 Hash values for the Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit with SP1?

So far all of my efforts to get the new glue chip drivers installed have failed. Using the original boot hard disk, I can get up to the Windows login, but after typing the login, I get a blue screen.  Same thing happens when I go to safe mode. When I try to do a boot repair from the original setup, I install the drivers which makes the original boot drive visible, but still can not do the repair.  When I try to do a repair from the original Windows install DVD, it claims it can't find the boot drive. I install the drivers from a USB stick and it still can't find the boot drive.

Why doesn't Microsoft have a version of Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit with SP 1 in US English available for download? It is enough to make one switch to Linux.

I have a retail version of Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit on the computer in question, not an OEM version.

The download link I gave you is for Windows 7 ISO downloads for OEM and Retail Licenses

EDIT:  You can follow the instructions here to slipstream SP1 into your installation media.

You can not replace the Motherboard with an OEM preinstalled License with whatever Motherboard you wish to when you have a preinstalled OEM License (HP, Acer, etc)

    .

You have to follow the directives or you void your OEM License; IF you have an OEM License.

This was the original link. Microsoft is altering/deleting links, but the information that was originally there remains the same (I copied it before the link disappeared)

    Q. If my customer asks me to upgrade a PC with new hardware components, when is a new operating system needed? When would the PC be considered "new"?

    A. Generally, an end user can upgrade or replace all of the hardware components on a computer—except the motherboard—and still retain the licence for the original Microsoft OEM operating system software. If the motherboard is upgraded or replaced for reasons other than a defect, then a new computer has been created. Microsoft OEM operating system software cannot be transferred to the new computer, and the licence of new operating system software is required.

If the motherboard is replaced because it is defective, you do not need to acquire a new operating system license for the PC as long as the replacement motherboard is the same make/model or the same manufacturer's replacement/equivalent, as defined by the manufacturer's warranty.

If you bought and installed your own Retail Windows License, you can change Motherboards, but doing that will now require a Phone Activation and you should not follow the Auto prompts, but hold on for a real person to explain to.

Download the correct ISO file and make your own disk and use the Product Key that is on the COA Sticker.

Using the downloaded ISO file Method may require phone Activation.
