    The best way to it is to disable the internal camera:

    a. Press Windows + X, click Device Manager.

    b. Click Imaging devices or look under 'Cameras'.

    c. Right click on webcam.

    d. Click Disable for the internal camera

    Restart, then start using the external camera.

    Hello you can try to do this:

    Click windows key + X > control panel > Devices and Printers > Find your webcam you just installed > right click it > click "set this device as default"
