Hi Sarah,
You can setup multiple displays in Windows 10 by following the steps below:
- Make sure your cables are connected properly to the new monitors. Your PC should automatically detect them and show your desktop.
- Right-click anywhere on the desktop on any screen and choose Display settings. Scroll down to Multiple Displays, click the drop-down menu and choose a display setting.
- Choose one of the Duplicate desktop options to show the same things on multiple screens. Pick Extend desktop to extend your work surface.
There is a nifty way of accessing this option by pressing Windows key + P on your keyboard, and then choose the following options according to your needs:
- PC screen only. You'll see everything on your PC. (When you're connected to a wireless projector, this option changes to Disconnect.)
- Duplicate. You'll see the same things on both screens.
- Extend. You'll see everything across both screens, and you can drag and move items between the two.
- Second screen only. You'll see everything on the connected screen. The other screen will be blank.
Let me know if there's anything else you need.
