The procedure entry point could not be located in the dynamic link library

So here is the whole Story folks, which i am having more than 2 weeks problems with :'(

1.) I downloaded a game (PayDay2) on Steam via friends account (he is using discord and some sdk, one of them is also discordrpc)

  1. i tried to start the game but it was saying: @ Missing api-ms-win-.... .dll there was 10 or so of them. i downloaded all from this page ( http://www.sts-tutorial.com/sites/search.php?searchTerm=api-ms-win-crt-math-l1-1-0.dll )seperately and put them in the RIGHT folder!!!
  2. Now when running the game its saying @payday2_win32_release.exe - Entry Point not found " The procedure entry Point could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\PAYDAY2\discord-rpc.dll. "

10.0) I deleted the whole game several times and tried to install them

11.0) I tried removing the discord-rpc.dll from the folder but it than says that the discord-rpc.dll file is missing

12.0) I INSTALLED A NEW CLEAN VERSION OF WINDOWS 8.1 and did a clean driver install, all! This time i downloaded the game over my steam profile (yes i have bought the game too ;) but i had forgot my password ....) -----> AND AGAIN SAME STEPS 2---->3 :'((((((((((((((((((

13.0) i also tried installing discord (i tought discord-rpc.dll maybe has something to do with discord) but its always the same......

ANYONE has ANYTHING on this ?? I would be so gratefull, all my friends playing it like and me just listening to them :$

i searched other forums and contacted steam and the game founder but no one seems to know anything. this is my last hope guys

I am using an Windows 8.1 64 Bit, 8GB Ram, 3.3 GHz quad core, hdd 500gb 2 partitions

    yes especially this.

    Normally i find solutions for problems reading forums but for this solution there was none. even on steam were like 10 posts about this same problem. I hope someone can use this solution and not like me searching 2 weeks :/

    so I fixed the problem by downloading the discord-rpc.dll on the web from different sites. non worked but the 4th one did work great. so game is up and running smooth :-D

    turns out it was a mod of discord app which was needed to start the game

    Accept the End User License Agreement:

    Select the option Create installation media for another PC if you want to download a ISO image or create a bootable DVD or USB thumb drive,

    Click Next

    If you want to download a particular edition or both architectures, uncheck the Use the recommended option for this PC.

    Click in the Edition list box, choose your edition then click Next.

    Windows 10 - contains Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro.

    Windows 10 Home Single Language - only select this edition if you are running Windows 10 Single Language, Windows 8 Single Language or Windows 8.1 with Bing.

    Windows 10 N - only select this edition if you reside in Europe, it does not contain Windows Media Player. It contains Windows 10 Home N, Windows 10 Pro N.

    Downloading the ISO file

    An ISO file is a digital or virtual replica of a physical disc. In order to use an ISO you must burn it to a optical disc. In the case of Windows 10, a blank Dual Layer DVD or an empty USB thumb drive. If you are using Windows 7, you can create the .ISO then burn it using the built in Disc Image utility. If you are running Windows XP or Windows Vista, you can using a third party burning tool such as ImgBurn or Roxio/Nero.

    Creating a .ISO file

    For the purposes of this exercise, we are gonna use the .ISO option.

    Select ISO file, then click Save, Select your location then click Save.

    Wait while the .ISO image is created.

    you know wherei  can find the iso image for updating from windows 8.1 to windows 10 ?

    Just to isolate the problem, could install Windows 10 to see if the same problem happens?
