I don't have a HDA folder inside Audio. Instead I have a folder called Drivers and a folder called InstallShield.
Installing realtek does nothing
I recently installed Realtek audio manager and it didn't seem to do anything. It is not in the control panel or device manager. It is listed as a program in the programs and features in the control panel.

2018-08-11T02:42:25+00:00 Thank you for letting me know. There's a possibility that you've installed the software in a different location/path. You may consider uninstalling and reinstalling your audio driver since Realtek High Definition Audio Manager comes packed along with the Realtek Audio driver.
- Press Windows key + R, then type in devmgmt.msc.
- On the Device Manager window, expand the Sound, video and gaming controllers category.
- Uninstall the Realtek High Definition Audio driver. Make sure to check the option with Delete the driver software for this device and click on Uninstall button.
- Reboot your computer and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.
- If Windows doesn't find a new driver, you can try looking for one on the device manufacturer's website and follow their instructions.
Update me on the outcome.
Regards.

2018-08-09T23:54:58+00:00 Hello John,
To better assist you with your concern, I'd like to know the following:
- Confirm which build is currently installed on your device. To check, follow the steps below:
- Press Windows key + R, then type in winver.
- Click OK.
- What is the make and model of your device?
- Check if the Realtek HD Audio Manager is enabled from the Startup apps. To do this, press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager, go to Startup tab > Make sure thatRealtek HD Audio Manager is enabled.
- Is there any other audio manager (DTS, Dolby, Nahimic, etc) installed on your computer? There's a possibility that your motherboard uses the integrated audio manager as the primary.
- Verify if you can access the folder of Realtek HD Audio Manager. Go to C:\Program Files\Realtek\Audio\HDA and try to double click on RtkNGUI64.
Looking forward to your response.
Regards.
