The Home page of Edge shows 3 "information cards" on money, sports, and weather. I have to manually delete them every time I start Edge. They do not stay gone.

Yes, I did. The drop down box says 'Add/Remove cards.'  I click each of the cards to 'off'  and click on 'save.' The cards remain gone during my session till I close the browser. The next time I log in, they are back on the home page,  in the same position.  Won't stay gone.

Hi Kitty. I'm Greg, an installation specialist and 9 year Windows MVP, here to help you.

Go into Edge Settings, then Extensions, then disable whatever is creating these cards.

If this only happens in Edge then the only other place it could come from is the Home page, so what is it? You can change it in Edge Settings > Open Page with.

If that doesn't do it then

Run full scans with the most powerful on-demand scanners Malwarebytes and AdwCleaner:

    https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcle....

Clean up anything they find, restart PC and then run both scans again until they come up clean. Then check for damaged System Files: https://www.lifewire.com/how-to-use-sfc-scannow...

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.

You said these cards are popping up from the Home Page? What is the URL for the Home page so I can examine it?

Hi Greg. Thank you for your prompt reply.

Found the settings place.  Clicked on extensions. Only one was listed---honey.  All others were extensions I could have if I so desired.

Now working on bleeping computer. Will let you know what happens. Thanks again.

There might be an issue with Edge.

    Give this a try first...

Open Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features

    	Scroll down to Microsoft Edge

    	Select it

    	Click Advanced options

    	Click Repair

    	Restart

If repair does not work, try performing a Reset.

Open Edge, click the Cog icon

Toggle off Weather, Sports and Money, then click Save.
