I tried all the suggestions. I changed the pagefile, I set HardwareFullScreenMode to 0, I completely reinstalled the graphics drivers and I disabled any overclock. But still no luck.
Final Fantasy 15 won't launch anymore
I've got the problem that I can't start the game, meaning it opens and closes right away.
And I'm always getting the same error protocol:

A complete new installation didn't help. Could it be the Kernelbase.dll that's corrupt?

Does anybody know what the problem could be?

2018-08-14T05:57:24+00:00 Hi Paludis,
It seems like a number of people were having similar problems with the game crashing.
The following Steam forum might have a few things to try and get the game working: https://steamcommunity.com/app/637650/discussio...
Specifically this comment to try:
"The pagefile change did it for me. Disable any overclock you have on CPU/GPU (just for testing). I found I had to dial back my overclock slighty due to the extra temps in my case. The game pushes my system HARD. If you have multiple monitors setup make sure only one is active. Have you tried full screen borderless? Change "HardwareFullscreenMode" from 1 to 0 in C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XV\Steam\XXXXXXXXXX\savestorage\GraphicsConfig.ini file i5 3570K 16GB RAM GTX 1070 (latest 391.01 drivers) Installed to SSD Windows 10"Note: This is a non-Microsoft website.
