Should be super easy for me to figure this out just by looking at the menus.

It's not.

Should be easy to google how to.

It's not.

How do I just add text? Just add some text. That's all I want.

Thanks for the reply. I could've been more specific.

I can make the text box, paste the text. Then what? No matter what I click next, it disappears. Click the background, click the text button, hit return. Can't make it stay.

    JB,

Do you have another computer you can try this on? I can't seem to reproduce it on my end.

You can try your luck at removing it via PowerShell and reinstalling it.

Right-click the Start button, then in the context menu, click "Windows PowerShell (Admin)".

Now, enter the following command: Get-AppxPackage *Paint* | Remove-AppxPackage

You can then reinstall Paint 3D here: https://www.microsoft.com/store/productId/9NBLG...

If this issue persists, do you use a laptop or a desktop? I think a minor detail like this might play into this behavior somehow. Thanks for the information so far.

    Hi JB,

That's strange, I would've thought they had a simple how-to for that. To save you time, here's how you can add text. Just click that T button as circled in my "wonderfully" illustrated image.

Does it work for you, does it show up on your end? Let me know.
