Screen time limits on adult xbox account

Is it possible to put screen time limits on an "adult" xbox account? I allowed my teenager to create an adult account in order to allow him to play a game with his cousins I approved of that was otherwise blocked. Now I cannot figure out how to put any restrictions on the account.

Please help the many parents who allowed their kids to start playing on their adult accounts.  We need all the help we can get in trying to resolve this screen addiction problem! I would like to be able to place time limits on my child without him losing all his “progress”.

With all of the highly intelligent staff at Microsoft, why can't they figure out how to add this feature with an upgrade/update to the system? It would be great if the XBOX ONE could be time limited for any user, including the primary user/owner/adult. It could easily be password controlled like all of the other limitations set by the primary account holder.

    Hello,

In response to your statement that "screen time only works on child account", how would one change an adult account to a child? I did the same thing as the original poster and gave my child an adult account, but want to change to account. When I try to update birthday to child account, it does not allow me.

Did you ever work out how to change the adult account into a child's? I also made the same mistake and now I cannot set time restrictions. If I created a child account now for him, he would lose all his game info etc and would be unable to sign in to Xbox live without me buying it again.
