Chrome not showing as an option for default browser (Fixed)
I've been seeing a lot of issues regarding Google Chrome not showing in Windows Setting to set as a default browser.
Fortunately, I've found a solution.
- First go to Default Apps in Windows Setting.
- Scroll down to find Set defaults by app as the last option and click on it.
- Now you should be presented with a page of apps, scroll down until you see Google Chrome. (If you have multiple Chromes', just click on the first one you see and you should be fine).
- Click on Google Chrome, and then Manage.
- You should be on a page with Microsoft Edge as a default for most of them. (There are some other applications that you can set as default, but for now don't worry about them).
- Finally, click on every Microsoft Edge application, and select Google Chrome. This should make Chrome as your default browser.
