I am browsing some deals when I came across some really cheap Microsoft product key website. The sellers website links to this:

Can I trust and buy from this seller? Especially Activation keys.

    Hi Kousik,

No that software is not genuine. They are selling Volume licence licences. The software may activate, it may not. Either way, within a month the software will de-activate and require re-arming.

That software is meant for use in a company or organisation, where the software will be re-armed form the ocmpay activation server on a regular basis and you will not be able to do that.

Honestly you will be wasting your money and have to purchase the software again anyway . . .

The old addage - 'If it sounds too good to be true - it generally is!'

Perhaps you are right. Not a very good idea to buy from here it seems. Thanks for the reply.

    Via https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/howtotell/Shop.aspx

Beware of Product Keys Sold Separately

With the exception of Product Key Cards (PKC’s) distributed with COA’s, Microsoft does not distribute products keys as standalone products. If you see a listing on an auction site, online classified ad, or other online page advertising product keys for sale, it’s a good indication that the keys are likely stolen or counterfeit. If you were to purchase and use a stolen or counterfeit product key to activate Windows installed on your PC, the key may not work for activation, may already be in use on another PC, or it might be blocked from use later by Microsoft when the key is reported stolen.
