You have installed the Microsoft Launcher app, not Windows. Go to the Play store from your phone and find MS Launcher. You should be able to uninstall it from there.

You cannot download Windows to your phone from a laptop. Which phone do you have, running which OS version ?

I have a Matrix phone running android version 5.1. when I started my new laptop it asked me if I wanted to sinc my phone to my laptop. It downloaded a app to my phone which I then ran and now my  phone uses windows apps (Microsoft launcher, Cortana and Edge). I am now out of storage on my phone and I want to remove windows. I am wondering if I have to do a factory data reset?
