Can I install PinYing input method for both traditional and simplified Chinese?

    Hi sanlvye,

    Yes, you may use Microsoft Pinyin (keyboard) for both Simplified and Traditional Chinese input. Here's how you can switch between Simplified and Traditional Chinese input when using Microsoft Pinyin (keyboard):

    1. Go to Settings > Time & Language > Region & language.
    2. Under Languages, select Chinese (Simplified). If you have not installed it yet, click on Add a language and search for Chinese (Simplified).
    3. Click Options and choose Microsoft Pinyin under Keyboards.
    4. Click Options > Keys > Hot keys.
    5. Under the Simplified/Traditional Chinese input switch option, turn it On.

    Thanks for the response, Sanlv. Can you provide a screenshot of what you're seeing on your end so I can take a closer look? Also, can you further explain the situation/issue as I am not really familiar with using Simplified and Traditional Chinese input.

    It works.  But the Chinese with 中andM on the bottom of the screen is with Traditional Pinyin.  Chinese with 必应 Bing 输入法 is Simplified Pinyin.
