Logitech webcam C170 was working nicely on my PC with Windows 10. Suddenly it stopped working. When I try to start a hangout, the camera icon keeps blinking, and cannot capture the picture. Don't understand what's happening.

Thank you very much, Andre. 'Allow apps' is already turned on, but it does not work. Actually, the cam was working nicely for 3 years. The present problem came up a few days back. The hangout page shows wave circles appearing and disappearing, and the cam icon toggling between 'mute' and 'unmute', like one struggling to breathe but fails. The green light of the camera itself is glowing steadily. Cam properties says - 'This device is working properly.'
Best regards,
Saikat
reset the camera app
