How do you format a flash drive in usb port?  It's in E:/ drive.

NTFS format will save large files in 1 big file.

The FAT options can only handle up to 4 GB size files.

This is important for saving large files so they don't get split up into a bunch of 4 GB or less sized files.

I make system images with Macrium Reflect.

They are around 25 GBs each.

My 1 TB external usb drive is formatted as NTFS so I get 1 25 GB sized image file instead of 7 smaller sized files.

This helps reduce confusion if I need to restore an image.🙂

In file explorer right click the e drive and select format.

If you are going to use it on your windows 10 machine then make sure to format using NTFS.
