    Task Manager>>Services>>More Services

    Locate Superfetch and select it

    right click open services

    locate Superfetch again and select

then select STOP on top left

    right click and select properties

Start up type>>>Select Disable and Apply

    Restart PC

    Hi,

Why do you think you don't need it?

Please run a command fsutil fsinfo sectorinfo c:

from PowerShell (administrator) and copy the result here.

    Hey kokobill,

Hope I can help with that. Hit Windows key + R to open a new Run box, then enter: regedit

This should take you into Registry Editor.

In the address bar on the top, enter the following: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management\PrefetchParameters

    Set "EnablePrefetcher" to 0.

Restart your computer if you believe it's necessary. Hope this helps, let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns.
