BI InitializeLibrary failed 0xc00000bb in a black screen. How to recover files. Need a step by step guide.

    Hi Lara,

    Error code BlInitializeLibrary failed 0xc00000bb is usually related to settings that were reset to default in BIOS. You can contact your Acer on how you can resolve this error as they have better knowledge on how the BIOS on their works. In the meantime, were you able to access the Advanced Startup options (Startup Repair screen)? You can repair the boot from there by using the Command Prompt. Here's how:  

    From the Startup Repair screen, click on Advanced Options. Under the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot> Advanced options> Command Prompt.

    Please enter the following command: 

    bootrec /scanos

    bootrec /fixMBR

    bootrec /fixBoot

    bootrec /rebuildBCD
