Hello,
In our company we currently have a Office 365 E3 subscription, but we cannot control user access from different devices. Reading about option and possibilities to control the access, we found Intune. The small inconvenient about it, is that is not available for the current subscription, only for Microsoft 365 E3 which is 12 usd dollars extra per user per month.
Would it be possible to add only Intune to our current subscription without the need of paying for the hole Microsoft 365 E3 package?

Office 365 E3 already have Intune added. So, you don't need to purchase it extra
licenses

This is incorrect. The Office 365 E3 does NOT include the Intune license.
The Microsoft 365 E3 does include the Intune license.

If you would like to control user access from different devices via Intune, please make sure the account is either an Intune service administrator, or a tenant administrator with the global administration permission, meanwhile, the account should have been assigned an Intune license.

You can buy Intune license individually. They have two options Intune user and Intune Device license. I think in your case, Best option is Intune User License. It's around 6$.

You can buy only Intune in Office 365 , look at Enterprise Mobility Suite in store.
E3 = without Intune
M3 = with Intune
