I have the same problem after a recent update. I use to be able to connect to 5GHZ network.

Following your instruction, i found the ‘band’ option is missing under 802.11ac property. Only Bandwidth Capability: 11a:20/40;11bg:20MHz

Tried to update the drive, but showes it’s the best ver.

    any suggestion?

    thank you

    Press Windows key + X

    Click Device Manager

    Expand Network adapters

Right click your wireless network adapter

    Click Properties

    Click Advanced tab

In the Property box, choose 'Band'

In the Value list box, choose 5 GHz

    Click OK
