Windows 10 SYSTEM account attempting outbound connections to fraud sites.

I'm very concerned by the amount of Windows system background processes and active processes that ALWAYS seem to be doing ALOT more than I am on the internet, this is a brand new computer, not even three weeks old and I'm getting warnings from malware bytes that the SYSTEM account is attempting to make outbound connections to known malware fraud sites.

Whats up with that, Microsoft?

    Hi Matthew,

My name is Aaron - a Microsoft adviser from Directly.

In the log file it says " C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe"

I assume you use google chrome as your browser?

if so "mmoframes.com" simply redirects to adverts. Frankly, any site you visit nowadays could try to pop up an advert in this manner.

To reduce the number of these I suggest using an ad blocker in chrome.

I highly recommend uBlock origin https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ubloc...

if all the malwarebytes warnings reference chrome, you should not be worried.

Malwarebytes simply blocked the advert for you (albeit in a noisy, alarming way).

Ublock will simply block the advert before malwarebytes picks it up.

    Hope this helps,

    Aaron
