I am assuming your computer has a VGA port. If not, you will need to buy an inexpensive appropriate adapter. For example, if you have HDMI port, you will need to buy a HDMI - VGA adapter which costs as low as US$ 8.

After connecting computer to projector, Windows Key+P > You can choose appropriate mode. Majority choose Duplicate (In Powerpoint preferred mode is Extend)

Hello, to connect a projector using VGA, you will need the VGA cable. Both ends are VGA 16 pin cable. Connect one end to your PC, and the other end to your projector. Once you have done so, login to Windows and press the following combinations "Windows Key" and "P". It should cycle through the projector modes.

    Hope this helps!
