    Hi

    Please try opening the file in Microsoft Paint which is included in Windows then saving it as a .JPEG file again (use a different filename to avoid overwriting the original). Now try opening this new file in Photoshop.

    P.S. Paint can be found:

    -> Windows Accessories->Paint

    Start Photoshop > File > Open > Select the image which needs to be opened > Let me know the results

    What is meant by Adobe - Is it Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Acrobat? Adobe Acrobat can not open JPEG files. Answer depends upon which is the Adobe product.
