    Usually that is a genealogy file, it can be opened with software like the free version of Family Tree Builder

    do you have any genealogy (family tree) software installed if so try using that to open it. it should work with most genealogy software.

    it is an ascii text file so you can open it in wordpad, although it may look like nonsense or be difficult to read because of the layout
