In my case, no apps running in the background (I disabled that on settings). How to remove unwanted memory uses (by Runtime Broker)?

And how to disable System Guard Runtime Monitor Broker Services (SgrmBroker.exe)?

    Hi Donna

Runtime Broker is a Windows process that helps manage permissions on your PC for apps from the Microsoft Store

There can sometimes be many instances of this process running, Runtime Broker uses very little resources (a few MB for each process) and is nothing to worry about. it is a legit process and sill not slow your PC in any way . ..

I have 84 background processes and 92 windows processes.  Why does Microsoft  make it so you almost have to be a programmer to understand how to use their software?  I quit using Microsoft Edge and went back to Chome since I've been have so many issues with Edge.   BTW, I reread my original and from my messed up typing, I might have been drinking that night :)
