    What did you think was going on overnight?

    Other than the entries in Event Viewer, what symptoms, if any, have your computer been exhibiting?

    This situation seems to be related to the driver for your Ethernet adapter (usually called "Local Area Connection").

    What is the make and specific model of your computer? 

    If you have a Dell, what is its Service Tag?

    If you have another "brand name" computer, what is its serial number?

    Which edition of Windows 7 do you have, and is it 32-bit or 64-bit?

    Did you install Windows 10, change your mind, and revert to Windows 7?
