proxy script address

My personal computer is asking for a script address for a proxy server. I have no idea if I have a script address

    Hi LisaFigueiredo,

    Do you need to use a proxy server?

    If you don't, you can disable this by following the below steps:

    • Open the Windows start menu
    • Search for 'Internet Options'
    • Open Internet Options
    • Select the Connections tab
    • Select LAN settings (at the bottom of the window)
    • Untick the three tick boxes ('Automatically detect settings', 'Use automatic configuration script', and 'Use a proxy server for your LAN (These settings will nto apply to dial-up or VPN connections)')
