a run time error (RUNDLL) appears on my lenovo. will explain

here is the window that pops up.

There was a problem starting

C:\ProgramData\Lenovo\ImController\plugins\LenovoBatteryGaugePackage\x64\LenovoBatteryGaugePackage.dll

the computer works ok, its a less performing type. I loaded Malwarebytes and the anti-rootkit from them ran them all, there were some medium level security risk trackers but nothing serious. No rootkits. How do I fix this issue?

    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

    1. What is the model number of the system that you are using?

    Usually the runtime errors are caused due  to corrupted application files, incompatible programs, or malware infections. Based on the error, it seems like the Lenovo Battery Gauge application is causing the issue. 

    I'd suggest you to uninstall and re-install the application and check. You can check the Lenovo website to download the application for the system model that you are using.
