No sound at all from this laptop after upgrade.

I've tried using Windows update but the drivers fail.

RealTek driver says it is incompatible (tried in compatibuility mode too).

There are no audio drivers on the Packard Bell support pages/

What to do?

Windows for home | Windows 10 | Windows update

    Thanks for the help.

I solved the problem by downloading the sound driver for Windows 8 from Packard Bell and installing it under Windows 8 compatibility mode.

If the issue persists can you open the Device Manager and expand "Sound, video and game controllers"

    What is listed?
