Looks like I am not the first person to notice this. I have been using the emoji keyboard for a while now and only recently noticed this peculiar issue. I can assume that Microsoft does not want to offend their corporate users but still... Emoji is a globally accepted standard. If my phone's keyboard can show it, why not my computer's operating system? Insane.

Typing the phrase also does not bring it up for me (others might want to confirm!). It just does not seem to exist in the windows 10 emoji database. 💩 is available though so that's nice. and of course W10 can render the emoji (

    🖕) just fine.

Hi Pinospin, thanks for your question. Hopefully I can help!

After doing some research, it appears other people have been experiencing the same problem. The only solution I could find is to type a particular four letter word beginning with F, followed by the word "you". The middle finger emoji should show up as a suggestion that you can select, and it will insert it into your text.

I hope this helps! If you have any other issues, please let me know.

MS hasn't added that emoji. Workaround: Copy from somewhere else and paste in your sticky notes.

Microsoft have not included that emijo. perhaps because it discourages from a civil conversation.

when you feel the need for a middle finger emoji, try a laughing face, it will annoy those that were trying to upset you and/or placate those that thought you were in the wrong.
