Xerox 3215 Scan issue from Windows update #1803

Cannot scan from Xerox 3215 after Windows update 1803.

Internet suggests there is a fix in WIN10_rs4_patch_220618

Anyone know how to access this fix?

    Probably they recently made a new driver update.

    I have did numerous firmware updates on printers and other devices. Even your Modem, TV cable box, PC BIOS and millions of other devices have firmware updates.

    on their website for the firmware update installation instructions. And yes, a firmware update can fix these types of issues just as driver and software updates on the PC can.

    You need to Disconnect the unit and uninstall all printer/scanner related software here.

    Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features

    Restart PC

    Then go to the link Mark gave you. There is 2 NEW Downloads and other utility tools.

    Now 2 days ago there was 2 new updates.

    One is the firmware.

    This updates the printer itself.

    It is not the driver and software that installs on the PC.

    You need to update the printer firmware first.

    Make sure to power cycle the unit when done. Do not plug into PC yet.

    And then look at the other packages to install and install them.

    Restart PC

    Also if this connects wireless, then I would reboot the modem/router and restart all PC's on your network.

    Those updates were not there yesterday.

    Can you tell me, did you go through the process you described and which is described in Firmware v3.50.03.01and v3.12.38.3 and win10_rs4. Is it really as straight forward as it appears?
