How do I rename my mouse and keyboard?

I've renamed quite a few USB sticks and cards. However, this seems to be because it shows up in the file explorer. I would like to rename my keyboard and mouse, which don't show up in the file explorer. I can go to control panel > devices and printers and view my devices. Going to the device settings or viewing the properties doesn't seem to be working. I am using Windows 10.

Is there a way to rename my devices that don't show in file explorer?

    Sorry there is no way to rename your keyboard or mouse. Drives and cards can be renamed, but not hardware like your mouse and keyboard . ..

    This is only half-correct.  Printers can be renamed.   Go to Settings > Devices > Printers and Scanners and select the printer, then click on "Manage."

    In the next window, click on Printer Properties:

    The name can be changed in the next window:
