Good day! I apologize that you are having this issue and I am hoping we can work through it and fix it.
First, this is an ongoing issue many have had, and believed to be an issue with the DAC and not windows (at least in most cases)
- To fix this, you can try to uninstall the DAC drivers (and all other audio drivers) then unplug the USB and plug it back in. See if that fixes it.
- Make your sound devices look like this with the GSX 1000 disabled and speakers enabled:

Hi, there, I have done the above mentioned but it does not work. Also Sennheiser has replaced a new set for me - this is the second set that I am trying.
Dear Zackary,
Before proceeding to the ''booting up in the safe mode procedure''; I would like to check with you if I have done this step correctly. After I had uninstalled all audio drivers and replug in the USB, the (previously deleted)drivers will reappear
again in the device manager? Currently, I have turned off automatic device installation settings(under advanced system settings) for this step. Also, under sound playback, I have disabled all devices except GSX 1000 Main audio(default device) with the rest
being disabled. Cheers.
