    No, it does not need Winzip. The ability to zip and unzip are both built into Windows 10.

    You *can* install Winzip if you prefer it to what's built into Windows, but it's entirely unnecessary and I can recommend against it.

    No you do not need to install WinZip, Windows 10 supports zipping and unzipping files natively . . .

    If you are getting a popup to install WinZip, choose not to install that . . .
