Quickbooks 2014, windows 10 compatiblity

I just bought a Dell notebook with Windows 10, I am having a problem loading Quickbooks 2014 accountant, the ICwrapper.dll failed to register. Then I tried to install it in compatibility mode ( windows 7)  and (windows 8) with the same result. My desktop runs it on window 7 perfectly. I've read QB 2014 isn't compatible with W10.  Can I load W7 on the notebook to run QB14 or is there a better way to get around this compatibility issue other than buying QB18?

    It looks like Quickbooks 2014 is discontinued and does not support Windows 10 installations. You can see more information about this on the Quickbooks community thread below:

    You'll need to use an older version of Windows, or upgrade to a more recent version of Quickbooks. Please let me know if you need further support! Thanks!

    Unfortunately is not compatible, Windows 10 is compatible only with QB15 and newer versions.
