Can I uninstall these HP programs?

So today I got a brand new HP gaming laptop, and, as expected, there is plenty of HP programs that have been installed by the manufacturer. There are a lot, and the notifications and pop-ups annoy me. Here is my question - can I uninstall these programs and will my computer still work properly. Here is a list of them:

HP Coolsense

HP Documentation

HP JumpStart Apps

HP JumpStart Bridge

HP JumpStart Launch

HP Support Assistant

HP Solutions Framework

HP System Event Utility

There were a few I think were drivers that I won't risk uninstalling, but if you could tell me about the ones I listed, I would be great.

    Hi Charlie

You can and should remove all that bloatware, with the singular exception of HP CoolSense, the rest are not required and it will do no harm at all to remove those . . .

Quote from HP - HP CoolSense Technology is a feature in some HP notebook computers that combines hardware, software, and mechanical design to dynamically manage the temperature of your notebook

Hi Charlie. I'm Greg, an installation specialist and 9 year Windows MVP, here to help you.

It depends on how much of a purist you are. Many enthusiasts won't run any factory bloatware and choose to do the best possible Clean Install following the illustrated steps in this link which include everything that works best in Windows 10: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki...

There is also an automated Fresh Start that reinstalls Windows while shedding factory bloatware that can cause issues and affect performance, saves your files, but doesn't clear the drive to get it cleanest: https://www.howtogeek.com/265054/how-to-easily-...

But some HP programs can be useful. CoolSense controls the fan speeds in case it gets hot.

Jumpstart is just an introductory app which pushes the most pernicious preinstalled bloatware McAfee or Norton (use Defender for best Windows Performance), nags you to register, etc. Same with Documentation. You can register if you want but they still owe you a year's Support and Warranty if you do or not. https://www.quora.com/What-are-the-uses-of-the-...

Support Assistant has some useful features like the Updater and link to Support and Diagnostics: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03467905

    Review here: https://www.quora.com/Is-HP-Support-Assistant-n...

HP System Event utility allows users to program further the Hotkeys which may also rely on it to function on some models. Discussion and replacement download here: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Operatin...

Some models have an HP Wireless manager on top of Windows superior manager, but it requires disabling it before uninstalling.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.

If you were to clean install Windows none of the above would be installed and the computer would work fine.

There are HP drivers, firmware and software that will improve performance or the end user's use of the computer.

Windows will automatically update most Microsoft and non-Microsoft drivers.

However Windows will rarely ever notify you for a BIOS update.

To learn about the driver and BIOS updates that can improve performance you can regularly visit the HP website.

Most of the time you will find little information and after a while are likely to stop visiting the website.

HP has created software which you can click to see if there are any HP drivers or firmware to update performance.

Having HP Support Assistant is a useful tool for these purposes.

The tool is launched when you need it.

To improve the performance of the new computer you can turn off most if not all non-Microsoft services and have the fastest boot times with the lowest CPU/memory consumption while gaming.  This is selective or clean boot.
