Driver problem is displaying as below.
Windows 10 'No Audio Output Device is installed' after crash
I plugged my television into my laptop, using an HDMI cable, to use it as a second display, as I do on a regular basis, but suddenly windows declared it had an error and had to close. When rebooting from this, I've suddenly found Windows is telling me 'No Audio Output Device is installed'.
I tried using system restore, but it told me the hard drive was corrupt and I should use chkdsk /r. I did so and tried again. System restore still doesn't work. I tried several different recent restore points. None worked. The device manager is showing a problem with the drivers for High Definition Audio Controller. I have tried reinstalling the sound drivers provided my my laptop's manufacturer, but each time I try, windows tells me that the best driver is already installed.
Is there anything else I can do?

- I would recommend that you perform a Windows 10 repair upgrade. Repair upgrade fixes all Windows errors and retains all files, applications and settings. (You will not lose any data while backup is a good idea) Below is a good guide to perform repair upgrade
