Can't Connect to a Logitech Bluetooth adaptor connected to my stereo amplifier

I can connect and stay connected with another PC but the one I use for my music will connect, then disconnect and not permit me to send the music to the Bluetooth adaptor.  Note that the adaptor is not connected to the PC but a small Bluetooth adaptor is plugged into one of the front USB ports.

My purpose is to send the music into the living room stereo system from the PC.  Since the Logitech adaptor won't stay connected (but paired) I can't use it.  Unlike the other posts with similar content, I don't know if this is after a recent Windows update.  All I know is that I can connect and stay connected with another Windows 10 Pro pc and this one won't.

    Hi Larry,

    Just want to make sure I have the details right, the adapter works fine on another PC, correct? I know it’s not the PC you want to use for streaming music, but have you tried to stream music using it?

    The PC’s, both running windows 10, 1803...1809?

    Usually with an issue like this we start crossing things off a list, and find our lowest common denominator. It’s either a faulty USB Bluetooth dongle or a software issue on that particular PC.

    Let me know and we’ll try to figure this one out!

    Both PCs were Windows 10 Pro, 1809.  To be honest, I was so frustrated by this that I went out and bought two identical Bluetooth adaptors that were specifically Windows 10 compatible.  That solved the issue, and the PC keeps the Bluetooth connection to the Logitech adaptor active and stable. I bought two so the other PC would be the same.
