Hello, I'm new here , I don't know if it's the right place to ask this question,

I got the laptop like 2 years ago I had 2 display adapters in my Device manager , one for intel(The only one displayed now) and AMD,

I don't know when did it disappear but I'm not being able to use the AMD graphics card anymore , I tried opening the Laptop Dissembled everything I saw the graphics card in the motherboard it looks fine , and written the name AMD on it,

is it possible that the problem is from the motherboard? or is it fixable from the system?

I've looked around too many websites for "AMD graphics card not detected/not working" with no luck Besides I Couldn't install any AMD driver or control center on it.

I really appreciate and in need for help to know whats the issue or how i can fix it ,

Thanks in advance.

Laptop :

Lenovo B50-70

Graphics card : Intel

I Don't know the AMD graphics version I forgot it long ago and it doesn't display anymore.

    Hello,

    Thank you for the reply.

Let us try few more methods and check if you are able to resolve your issue.

Method 1: Locate and install ccc2_install.

    1.    Tap on Windows + R key on the keyboard.

2**.** Type C:\Program Files\AMD\CCC2\Install in the run box and tap on **** Enter.

3**.** Locate ccc2_install and run this file and follow the onscreen instruction.****

    4.    Restart the PC.

Method 2: If the issue still persists try reinstalling the drivers.

    To do that,

    1.    Tap Windows+ R key on the keyboard.

    2.    Type services.msc  in the run box and press Enter

    3. Locate and double click Windows Update.

    4. From the drop down menu in Startup Type, Select the Disabled option.

    5. Also click on the Stop button, if the service is started.

    6. Click on Apply and OK . ( This will disable Windows update service)

    7.    Now Tap Windows + R key****on the keyboard.

    8.    Type appwiz.cplin the run box and press Enter.

    9.    Locate the AMD Softwarein the list and click on it.

    10.  Click on Uninstall and OK.

    11.  We will clear all the AMD folders in the C drive. To do that, Tap Windows + R key****on the keyboard.

    12. Type C:\AMD and press Enter.

    13.  Select all the files and delete them.

    14.  Once done, navigate to the AMD manufacturer’s website. Download the driver which is best suited for your PC. Note: Do not use the auto detect tool.

    15.  After the download completes, double click on the downloaded file to install it.

    16.  Restart your PC and check if the AMD drivers are installed.

    Hope it helps.

    Hello,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

    1.    Which version of Windows are you currently using? (To check the operating system information, you can refer this article on Which Windows operating system am I running?)

    2.    Are you aware of any changes made on your PC recently?

This issue can occur if there is a hardware issue or if the respective drivers are not installed on your system. If you are using Windows 10 on your Lenovo B50-70, I suggest you to download the drivers from the manufacturer’s website and install it on your PC. Use the following link to download AMD VGA Driver for Lenovo B50-70 and check if it works for you.

    Hope it helps.

I've watched a youtube video for the catalyst manager failure

I could manage to install it by setting full control to ccc-core-static in "C:\drivers\AMD VGA Driver\Packages\Apps\CCC2\Core-Static-Net4" installed ccc-core-static and restarted

I right clicked on desktop and tried to open the AMD catalyst-control-center, but i got

"AMD catalyst control center cannot be started. There are currently no settings that can be configured using AMD catalyst control center."

do i undo the installation ? or what can i do next

I checked the device manager for the driver as well , but still not there

I even did full reset for the laptop , I don't know what to do
