Hi R,

All of these utilities that claim to keep your system working fast, clean and in tip top shape are not good to have installed . . .

More times than not, they will cause more harm than good and sometimes can and will brick your system . . .

Microsoft half the time, don't know what will be in next months update, so how are these companies meant to stay ahead of the curve. All it takes is Microsoft to change a registry entry and that software does not realise it is meant to be there and problems cam occur

Trust Windows to keep itself up to date and responsive - if you really look at it, there is no real speed boost to be had by installing this type of Software !

Everything that claim to repair your computer and asks you to pay for it is a scam.
Just use CCleaner, that too without registry edit for general housekeeping stuff.

Advanced System Repair Pro is a scam and it's Malware - Avast reports it as Malware so does Avira, Reimage, which it ate Reimage & then Reimage did it back - they are just non-stop fighting - I've just finished speaking with their Tech support for about the 400th time in the past 7 months - I've paid $70.00 for them to ruin a brand new HP Laptop plus non-stop popups asking for more money - they used to at least "fake" repairing the system.  Today - I spoke with their billing company SafeCart - there is one person there - and she does not even have a phone number or a contact person for the company of Advanced System Repair Pro - I should have believed the few scans that said it was Malware & never called them back - they auto scam bank accounts.  I never signed up for a renewal or auto-payment - their company just "lifts" your money out - no contact, nothing - they do not even have a phone number anymore.  Arlette, Mike & the other goof that work as their technical chat - they don't know how to do anything - I've contacted them over 200 times in the past 7 months because Advanced System Repair Pro does not even stay activated - your activation key magically disappear every time you load the "security app" - which they call Advanced System Repair Pro - your security team" - Joke!  I'm so angry today I could almost spit - I had major problems with the update - but now I'm pretty positive this past week has NOT been a Microsoft issue or Windows - positive of that now - it's Advanced System Repair Pro - I just did an indepth Scan of the businesses on Facebook they have registered and there are at least 20 other computer "security teams" listed as similar but various names.  I paid them a discounted fee last July, 2018 - tried it - yet 1 month ago - they magically took $30.00 out of my account - and the past 2 weeks I had non-stop pop-ups from them asking for another $19.99 for their Advanced System Repair Pro - Premiere.  DO NOT BUY IT.  There is not a single person at that company - accept for the 3 people on the tech chat - and they do nothing - they say Oh activate it - yes, I've done that 200 times - can you fix it - Oh sure - let me have access to your PC?  Ahhhh - why isn't it activated again - Oh we don't know - check your license.  I just talked to your billing agency - she doesn't know you, people, at all."  Interesting.  They start with Smarter Track, Smarter Mail, SmarterStats, Smarter Communicator - now they don't answer any questions either about Smarter Track - any of the 4 & TeamViewer is mixed up in this also.  Somehow - I'm not sure about them - but I'm going with what Microsoft suggests and Defender doesn't like them either.  Just a warning folks - I've talked to them weekly - checked my P's & Q's & asked my Financial Business Attorney in NYC to handle it.  I'm a Dr. in little ole South Dakota - my staff has had it with my personal PC and offered to take up a collection to replace what was my brand new personal HP laptop.  It's so messed up - my support staff that handles this stuff won't touch it.  LOL.  Oh Lordy!  My Finanial Business Attorney in NYC - is one of the best and he wanted something a little more exciting to do this week.  LOL.  He's also my cousin - my baby cousin written up about in all these fancy reports & magazines and NYC's best!  I laughed but then called him & said - do you realize what they are saying about you.  He just chuckles and asks me "what do ya want cuz"  I dumped it on him - here ya go.  Looks like fun - Facebook says they are now based out of Nigeria.  Hmmmm - they used to be based out of Sweden, then NYC, funny but one of them said he atteded my first alma mater & had pictures from my first University.  They are a scam - don't give them any financial information - they take money & provide you with a few fixes to speed up computer & then provide you with an entire array & host of popups until you get so frustrated you leave & uninstall.  They say they have a "learning center" - imagine that - there used to be one there but now you can't even sign in.

    Just a warning - I was warned - I didn't listen.  Now I'm out about $80.00.  Oh well - live & learn.

within the first 2 days i was bombarded with requests to upgrade which means the service

you have bought is inferior and does't need a brain surgeon to work that out. Then I decided

i would ask for a refund in the 14 day cooling off period. To get to point where you can send an email

I have'nt found so to me this is a scam. If you go to custumer service it just shows you your invoice with no insructions of how to claim a refund if you are not a satisfied custumer.

It has been irritating me for a couple of days with constant warnings! It looked like a potentially good product, and offers a free trial, but you have to wait three days after installation before you get the trial key. Meanwhile it is constantly warning you about problems in an effort to force you to purchase without a trial! VERY IRRITATING sales practice. I am fed up and uninstalling without the trial. Sorry for the bad review, but I think the sales practice warrants it.
