Minecraft for Windows 10 won't download

Hey so a few years back I got my new PC with windows 10 on it. At the time I had Minecraft: Java Edition so I got the free code for the Windows 10 Edition and redeemed it but never got around to installing it.

I now want to play it but on the Microsoft store, it does not show up as purchased and so I can't even download it. I do use the same email for my Microsoft account as my Mojang one but it still doesn't work. If I hit redeem it brings me to Microsoft account redeem page and says "This code has already been redeemed". I then go onto the Microsoft store app on my computer and it showed this.

I also tried going on the Xbox app on my PC and it just said to go to the Microsoft store app which hadn't changed. If anyone knows what is going on this please help me figure out what is happening.

Good day! I apologize that you are having this issue and I am hoping we can work through it and fix it.

    1. Run the troubleshooter for windows apps and updates:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-ph/help/402749...

    1. Check for updates on apps and games in the store:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-ph/help/402625...

    1. Clean boot the device: https://support.microsoft.com/en-ph/help/929135...

Try these below if the top 3 do not work:

    1:

you should try signing out of the Microsoft Store.

Click your Profile picture at the top right > click your account > sign out.

Restart your PC, and sign back into the store to see if that fixes it.

    _____________________________

    2:

    Press Windows key + R

    Type: wsreset.exe

    Hit Enter

It will open a prompt, run through things, then close or you will have to close it yourself.

    _______________

So I tried everything that was on the list you suggested and nothing fixed it. It still shows that same screen anytime I go to Minecraft for Windows 10 on the Microsoft Store. Everything in the store is updated and when I checked for updates nothing came up. Do you know of anything else that may fix my issue?

I think it might have been on my dads account then. But I recently noticed after I did what you told me that my computer has been acting weird. Whenever I play an online game my ping goes through the roof. I on average get about 200 and I think this has a direct correlation with whatever you had me do.
