Audio Jack Issues

Hi anyone who views this,

I have recently bought myself a studio microphone (Vonyx CMS400 Studio Set / Condenser Microphone with Stand and Pop Filter) and wasn't prepared to use it along with my speaker system (Logitec Z213). I went out and got an audio spliter that allows me to sue my microphone and speaker at the same time as my laptop didn't come with two audio jacks. The problem is that the microphone works now but I think I messed up when I selected mic only on the pop up that comes up when an audio device is plugged in, I also clicked that I didn't want to see it again. The speakers even when plugged in now on there own won't work. I really need help with this as I've been struggling and I need to be able to use them for a project I am currently working on.

Thanks for your time, Keiko Pima
