UGEE 1910b running on Windows 10?

Hi,

I have a UGEE 1910b and have been trying to get it to run on my HP running windows 10. The laptop sees the monitor and I can use it as either a extended or mirrored monitor but the UGEE software does not see the unit. The UGEE website is absolutely no help. When I tried to uninstall the driver and reinstall it keeps saying that there is still software on the system. I believe I have finally deleted all the things I need to delete.

I was wondering if anyone else has had these issues in Windows 10? What I have read in forums, people have issues with Windows seeing thier monitor. Like I stated it sees it fine but the UGEE software wont.

I bought it used of EBAY which might of course be the problem. Right after I bought it I had to have open heart surgery and was not able to try to install it for over a year.

I know seem to be having an issue with my touchscreen. It senses my finger touch fine but not a generic stylus that I could use while I was in the hospital.

Im thinking of going back to Apple products after all this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you all,

Rick

    Hi RichardSoron,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft community forum.

Could you please help me with the below information:

    1. How is the device connected to the computer?
    2. What happens when you turn on the device?
    3. What is the make and model of the computer?

This issue is an indication of faulty drivers or in**compatible driver . This issue can be fixed mostly by updating the drivers from the manufacturer website.

I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

    Method 1: Run inbuilt troubleshooter.****

    1. Click on the Settings icon from the start menu.
    2. Click on Update and security > Click on Troubleshoot.
    3. Click Hardware and Devices on the right pane and click on Run the troubleshooter.
    4. Follow the On screen instructions and let us know if it fixes the issue.

    Method 2: Installing Drivers.

I would suggest you the download the Test Driver 2018 available in the UGEE website. I would also suggest you to go through the system requirements in the 1910BManual, as per the manual the device is only compatible with Windows 2000 /XP/VISTA/Windows 7. This might be the cause, the device is not working properly.

    Hope it helps.

    Roohi,

Thank you so much for your assistance. I uave to admit I feel really stupid about this. When i downloaded the driver the first time I looked at the driver date and not the fact that it was the wrong driver. I feel so dumb...lol.

I did download the test driver and followed the installation instruction exactly and the Ugee graphics display works fantastic. I have pen pressure in GIMP as well.

I feel sorry i bothered you with this but thank you so much.

Now if I can get the passive stylus to work on my touchscreen again...lol

Thanks again and sorry to bother you with something that was all caused by my stupidity,

    Rick Soron
