Hello Everyone.

I have a problem with my gamepad. It was working before but now it suddenly not work anymore. It was detected as game controller before in device manager, but now it is HID Bluetooth device. It can only detect the media buttons (previous, next, volume +, volume -).

Here is some screenshots to show my gamepad.

This Screenshot is taken in device manager.

This Screenshot is in properties.

The gamepad properties can be calibrated before and there are some x, y and z axis and a few more buttons in there.

They are not just there anymore. I already kept removing device and reinstalling the drivers but it still the same.

Can anyone help me about this?

I already tried removing the drivers by removing the device on "Devices and Printers" but when I paired it again, it is still the same. Before this happened I tried to pair my controller on an android device and when I paired it back on my windows pc, it suddenly became like this. I did not do anything else, maybe windows installed an update that made it like this or maybe the drivers is on my installation disk and when I updated, windows deleted and installed a new driver for it. I recently installed my OS because of windows update issues.

Here are some of the info on my windows pc.

    Hi Cronuz,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

To have better clarity on the issue, answer the below-listed questions and get back to us.

    1. Were there any changes made to the computer prior to this issue?
    2. What is the make and model number of your computer?

The iPega 9028 is a Bluetooth Gamepad with touchpad, which should be show in in the Bluetooth Devices.

You can refer iPega to check the same.

We suggest you to completely disconnect the Controller from the computer and uninstall all the drivers related to the controller and follow the section To connect a Bluetooth keyboard, mouse, or other device from Connect a Bluetooth device and connect the controller to your computer using Bluetooth.

You may also refer the below screenshot for further help.

    Hope it helps.

    Hi Cronuz,

    Thank you for replying.

Once you have removed the controller from Devices and Printers, go to Device Manager and uninstall all the drivers related to the controller (the drivers in the screenshot that you have posted earlier).

Note: Before uninstalling the drivers from your computer, turn off the controller.

Once you have successfully uninstalled all the game controller drivers from the Device Manager, then turn on the controller and pair it using Bluetooth to your computer.

    Hope it helps.
