    Hi Serg

Windows 10 does have a lot of processes running in the background, this is normal, you may have 70 - 80 versions of Svchost running, those do not take up much resources and will not slow your PC down . . .

Turn off all unnecessary startup applications and processes:

Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager

    Click on the Startup Tab

See any non-essential items are listed there

If so, select and click 'Disable'

    Close Task Manager

Click your Start Button, type msconfig and hit Enter

When the System Configuration dialog opens, click on the Services Tab

Check the box marked 'Hide Microsoft Services'

In the remaining list, see any non-essential items are listed there, uncheck any you find

    Click Apply and OK

Turn off all unnecessary Background Apps

    Open the Settings App

Go to Privacy - Background Apps

Turn off any App you do not need running in the background

    Restart your PC

Why do you think that's a problem? I currently have 174 processes and my computer runs very well. Perhaps I should explain:

A process is a portion of application code. A single application may execute in many processes, some actively executing and others waiting to be executed. Dividing an application into processes helps your computer run faster for at least two reasons: 1) the CPU only has to load and execute a small portion of code instead of the entire application, and 2) makes it possible for the CPU to switch smoothly between tasks.

Not only does your computer run faster, dividing an application into processes makes your computer more stable since a single process can crash without necessarily taking down the entire application.

If your computer is running slowly that's usually due to one or both of two reasons: 1) too many applications running in the background, and 2) malware. To reduce the number of applications running in the background, reduce the number of applications that start with Windows. Can't help you with malware. It's not that I don't want to - I don't have the experience.

    Hello SergFBaby,

These processes are probably the default processes started during OS Boot created by Microsoft and Dell. This issue is probably not unusual. You can try uninstalling the unwanted pre-installed Dell software to reduce the number of processes on your system.
