I have been trying to underscore the first letter in a sky email address but without success. I have Gmail and Windows mail and have tried in both of these accounts and failed. I have done the type letter then hold down shift key but then the underscore comes in next to the letter that I want to underscore. Help!!!!

E-Mail addresses can contain letters, numbers plus a few special symbols such as underscores (e.g. mollie_lyons@ . . .) but they cannot contain underlined, bolded or italics letters.

    Hi MollieLyons1,

I am Vijay, an Independent Advisor. I am here to work with you on this problem.

None of the characters in E Mail addresses can not be underlined. This is the limitation of e mail protocol itself. Windows 10, Gmail, Sky mail have nothing to do with this.

Do let me know if you require any further help on this. Will be glad to help you.

    Hi MollieLyons1

My name is Sarah Kong and I am an independent adviser that is here to try and help you with your issue.

Open notepad or word and type the email in there.

    Then copy and paste it.

    See if that works.

    Hi MollieLyons1

My name is Fernando. I am an Independent Advisor. I am here to guide you with your question regarding underscoring one letter in an e-mail.

E-mail addresses are non-formated. This means that you can not underscore, superscript, bold etc.

May I ask what you are trying to accomplish?

    Respectfully,

    Fernando Y.
