I am trying to reinstall windows XP professional on an older computer; I have the restore plus CD and the windows XP professional cd; the installation wizard asks for the home edition cd prior to the XP professional cd; is there a way around this? if not where can I get a free download of the windows XP home edition I do not have that CD Thank You

2019-01-14T14:05:06+00:00 Support for Windows XP ended almost 5 years ago, and trying to find a free installation CD now will be quite like looking for a needle in a haystack. I recommend trying to get Windows 7 instead.
