Whats the "Microsoft Hardware" folder in Documents - and how do I get rid of it

Hi all,

I've been trying to clean up and streamline my workflow. Step one is de-cluttering my Documents folder. I've found a folder in there called "Microsoft Hardware". What is that? How can I get rid of it? I really don't appreciate it when companies end up putting stuff in my private folder that can't be removed easily.

any help would be greatly appreciated!

It does seem to be related to Microsoft's "Mouse and Keyboard" Center:

I uninstalled the software and the folder was gone. I then re-installed it and it hasn't re-appeared since. Still no clue what it was, but it's gone now

    Hi Zipro

My name is Fernando. I am an Independent Advisor. I am here to guide you with your question on the Microsoft Hardware.

The Microsoft Hardware folder is not a typical folder placed by Microsoft. It might have been placed by another software that you loaded. I am curious to see what files are in the folder. What kind of files are within the folder?

    Respectfully,

    Fernando Y.
